About My Artwork

When I make visual art, the last thing I consider about it is the verbal description.

I work first at a tactile level in combination with a palette of color and texture to capture an inner, nonverbal feeling and inner images on a page. I've discovered that what I remove from the layers of paint is just as important as what I leave on.
